MOUNTAINS OF DATA ARE VALUELESS
THE RIGHT INFORMATION IS PRICELESS
But if you're like most busy business people you're inundated with more information than you could ever possibly wade through. And by the time you find that crucial bit that might help you make a smarter business decision, it's probably out of date.
Wouldn't it be great if you could get just the information you need, when you need it, arranged and presented exactly the way you'd like to see it?
That's where we come in.
Information is Power
We are experienced business people who know first hand how tough it can be to run a business, and even tougher to run it successfully. We appreciate how much time can be eaten up trying to track down and stay on top of business critical information - precious time that could be used much more productively if only you had the right information available at your fingertips.
Because information is power. At Cornus Corporation, our focus is helping you harness that power.
Guide+.Net from Cornus is unique new software used for Business Performance Management (BPM), business intelligence and as an Enterprise Information Portal (EIP). Guide+.Net gathers data from wherever it may reside - within your organization and even out on the Internet - and puts it at your fingertips. Like your very own personal window into the vast universe of information, Guide+.Net delivers the infinite power only found in having the exact information you want whenever you need it, displayed in a format expressly tailored to meet your personal needs.
So you can forget about sifting through piles of printed reports. Forget analyzing spreadsheets packed with reams of details. Forget endlessly querying this data warehouse and that data mart. Forget having to compare information from six different business systems to find out what you need to know to run your business.
Next Generation Information Delivery
Cornus has taken information delivery to the next level of computing with Guide+.Net. Guide+.Net's uniquely powerful information delivery engine collects all the data - and only the data - that you need from anywhere in the enterprise: legacy operational systems, flat files, databases, data warehouses, data marts, reports, spreadsheets, presentations and even the Interner - virtually any computerized source.
Guide+.Net then automatically sorts, summarizes, and delivers the information directly to your desktop at the touch of a button, whenever and as often as you need it. Guide+.Net's sophisticated, graphical display screens are simple to use and easily customized, without programming, to meet your own personal needs. They can offer as much or as little detail as you require, and provide full drill-down to the lowest level of granularity on demand.
Whether you're trying to improve customer intimacy through better customer relationship management, tap into effective business intelligence to support better, faster, smarter decision making, maximize the return on your marketing spend through pinpoint targeted marketing, keep better track of your bottom line, or just want to know the answer when the CEO asks a question, or you are the CEO, Guide+.Net can help.

Company Background
In 1997, Cornus was founded with a goal of creating advanced new software that would make computers truly easy to use. The Guide+ information delivery engine was the first result of that effort and sets a new standard for people-oriented computing. Guide+.Net extends that new standard to the Internet.
The principals at Cornus Corporation include the Founder/CEO and the Director of Development from Data Design Associates, Inc. Both played an instrumental role in growing Data Design into a highly regarded provider of large-scale financial application systems. At the time of Data Design's sale in 1989, the company's 1,200 customers included many of the largest financial, industrial and service firms in North America.
Working with these organizations gave the Cornus management team extensive experience in building and implementing packaged, enterprise-level software systems. They also gained a deep understanding of the kinds of information that managers need on a day-to-day basis to effectively run successful businesses. This practical experience and in-depth understanding, coupled with the management team's total commitment to excellence, drives the design, development and continuing enhancement of Guide+.Net.

Message from the CEO
Thirty years ago I founded another software company, Data Design Associates. We developed and marketed large-scale financial systems for many of the leading companies in North America. In fact, we delivered over 1,200 major systems. We were different from our competitors in two ways. First, we were one-tenth their size. Second, we were so successful at satisfying customers that we could give a prospect our entire customer list for reference checking. In fact, our customers, through their enthusiastic endorsement, were our best sales people.
How did we do it? We took the time to hire only exceptional people. Then we gave everyone incentives to do a quality job. Sales people, development people, support people, and administrative people all were avid about quality.
The important thing for you to know is that we are building Cornus the same way. In fact, every one of our professional people has over thirty years of experience. When you use Guide+.Net, we are your team. You can expect great products and outstanding support.
If you are curious about our company name, Cornus is the botanical name for dogwood. Since we were having a heck of a time choosing a good technical name that wasn't already taken, and because we like nature, we picked Cornus. Other than getting confused with the trim on a building, the name has worked pretty well.
We hope you are finding the information on our website of interest. We encourage you to visit often, as we are always adding new information and updates. If you have any comments or questions, we'd love to hear from you.
And, if you're like most busy business people who would love to have the exact information you need at your fingertips - and you need it now - let us help.
